Death threat toTamil journalists for the 2nd time!
Death threats have been issued to a group of Tamil journalists in Batticaloa through leaflets placed near the Batticaloa Press Forum.
Activist Ruqui Fernando said leaflets were placed to threaten journalists.
A second time again, on July 7, 2023, the threat was issued.
Photographs of journalists in pamphlets, beware! Stay alert!! These are paid reporters from abroad. They should be sentenced to death soon.
A complaint has been lodged at the Batticaloa Police Station.
